Choose Your Service
All services billed at $300/hour in 15-minute increments ($75 minimum for quick consultations). No AUM fees. No commissions.
For $900, you receive a professional Investment Policy Statement and lifetime spending analysis: the strategic framework to manage your portfolio for the next decade, with the option to return for periodic check-ins.
Strategic Portfolio Review
ComprehensiveTwo core pillars: a lifetime spending analysis using economics-based consumption-smoothing algorithms (500 Monte Carlo simulations) to determine sustainable spending, and a structural portfolio overhaul with a customized Investment Policy Statement and step-by-step transition plan.
Deliverables:
- Comprehensive Investment Policy Statement & Action Plan – Part 1 defines your target equity allocation, fixed-income strategy (including bond ladder construction where appropriate), and rebalancing protocols. Part 2 maps each asset class to specific, executable tickers with step-by-step trade instructions.
- Portfolio Cost & Risk Analysis – Review of every holding for expense ratios, overlap/redundancy, and uncompensated risk, with specific low-cost alternatives identified
- Contribution Strategy – A prioritized framework for directing new savings (e.g., 401k Match → HSA → Backdoor Roth)
- 60 Minutes of Live Consultation – Typically split between an introductory call and a strategy review session
- Retirement Spending Projections – Lifetime consumption-smoothing analysis powered by MaxiFi Planner. Includes 500 Monte Carlo simulations testing both fixed baseline costs and discretionary lifestyle spending to answer the fundamental question: "How much can I afford to spend each year?"
Cost savings potential: The review typically identifies expense ratio reductions that may offset the engagement fee, depending on your current holdings.
2 hours analysis + 60 min live consultation
Scope: Up to 30 securities across 6 accounts. Additional complexity billed at $300/hour.
Add-on: A multi-year Roth conversion plan can be added to any review or purchased separately.

Frequently Asked Questions
Your accounts stay at your custodian (Fidelity, Schwab, Vanguard, your 401(k) provider, etc.) under your own login. After the analysis is delivered, you place each trade yourself. For clients who want additional support, the firm offers an optional secure screen-share session via Google Meet: you share your screen, and we walk through your brokerage interface together while you click through each order. You see and confirm every order ticket. Foxholm Financial does not hold custody of your assets and does not have your login credentials.
AUM fees scale with portfolio size and compound against the portfolio. A 1% annual AUM fee on a $750,000 portfolio is approximately $7,500 per year, growing as the portfolio grows. The Foxholm Financial $900 Strategic Portfolio Review is a one-time, flat fee. Re-engagements are available as needed through Periodic Investment Consulting at $300 per review or hourly consulting at $300/hour. For clients comfortable executing their own trades, the flat-fee structure may be dramatically less expensive over a 10 to 30 year horizon, depending on portfolio size, planning frequency, and the AUM rate being compared against. AUM models offer their own conveniences, including ongoing rebalancing and behavioral coaching; the right structure depends on individual circumstances.
The $900 Strategic Portfolio Review includes a written Investment Policy Statement with target allocation, fixed-income strategy, rebalancing protocols, and specific ticker recommendations; a portfolio cost and risk analysis; a contribution-priority framework; a lifetime spending analysis with 500 Monte Carlo simulations powered by MaxiFi Planner; and 60 minutes of live consultation. Scope covers up to 30 securities across 6 accounts. Items outside the standard scope, such as multi-year Roth conversion ladders or detailed equity-compensation modeling, can be added as hourly consulting at $300/hour.
