Privacy Policy

Foxholm Financial, Inc. is a fee-only registered investment adviser in the State of Georgia. This policy explains what information the firm collects, how that information is used and protected, and what choices you have. It covers two groups of people, anyone who visits foxholm.com and clients who engage Foxholm Financial for advisory services.

Part 1. Information Collected on This Website

You can read everything on foxholm.com without telling the firm who you are. There is no account to create and no wall to sign up behind. The information described below is either something you deliberately send or something the site's measurement tools record automatically.

What you send deliberately

The contact form asks for your name and email address, lets you check the topics you would like to discuss, and gives you a message field. That submission is delivered by email to advisor Robert Stowe, who answers it personally. It is used to respond to your inquiry and to continue the conversation if you want one. It is not added to a marketing list, and it is not passed to any third party for marketing.

If you decide not to use the form, you can email contact@foxholm.com instead.

Calculators and planning tools

This is a deliberate design choice. A retirement calculator only works if you enter real figures, and you should not have to hand real figures to a firm you have not hired in order to get an answer.

Analytics and advertising measurement

The site loads Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-MMLQNCKWT5) to understand which pages people actually read. Pages are grouped into broad categories, such as guides, services, local pages, and the quantitative research library, so that readership of the research library can be understood separately from readership of the planning content. Google Analytics records information including the pages you visit, the site or search that referred you, an approximate location derived from your IP address, and your device and browser type.

The site also loads a Google Ads tag (conversion ID AW-17997528379). Its purpose is measurement, specifically understanding whether an advertisement led someone to contact the firm, and it may also be used by Google to show Foxholm Financial advertisements to people who have previously visited the site.

This data is used in aggregate to decide what to write next and whether advertising is worth continuing. It is not used to build a profile of you as an individual, and Foxholm Financial does not sell it or combine it with client records.

Cookies

The cookies this site sets come from the Google Analytics and Google Ads tags described above. They record an anonymous identifier so that repeat visits are not counted as new people, and so that an advertisement click can be connected to a later inquiry. The site does not use cookies to store anything you type into a calculator, and it does not sell cookie data to advertising networks.

Server logs

Like nearly every website, the hosting provider records standard access logs when a page is requested. These typically include an IP address, the time of the request, the page requested, and the browser used. They exist to deliver pages, diagnose errors, and defend against abuse.

Links to other sites

This site links to outside resources, including the Advice-Only Network directory, the Social Security Administration, the IRS, fund prospectuses, and academic research. Once you follow a link, you are on someone else's site under someone else's privacy policy. Foxholm Financial does not control those sites and is not responsible for their practices.

Part 2. Information Collected as a Client

Everything below applies once you engage Foxholm Financial for advisory services. Financial planning requires detailed personal information, and federal law requires the firm to tell you plainly what it does with that information. The table that follows is the standard federal disclosure format.

What information is collected

Identity and contact

Name, date of birth, Social Security number, government identification, home and mailing address, phone numbers, and email addresses.

Financial

Income, net worth, assets and liabilities, investment holdings, tax information, and bank and brokerage account information.

Investment profile

Objectives, risk tolerance, time horizon, investment experience, and any restrictions you place on the advice.

Household and employment

Marital status, dependents, beneficiary designations, employer, occupation, and compensation, including equity compensation where it applies.

Most of this comes directly from you, through conversations, documents you provide, and figures you enter into the financial planning software used for your engagement. Some arrives from custodians through view-only access that you grant, and some comes from public records. Foxholm Financial does not pull consumer credit reports.

How the information is used

Your information is used to produce the advice you hired the firm to give, to administer the engagement, to communicate with you, to bill you, and to meet the recordkeeping and reporting obligations that securities regulation imposes on every registered investment adviser.

Who the information is shared with

Foxholm Financial operates on an advice-only basis and does not take custody of your assets or trading authority over your accounts. That structure limits sharing considerably. Information is disclosed only in these situations.

  • Service providers who do work for the firm. Cloud storage and productivity platforms, financial planning software, and the payment processor that handles advisory fees. Each is required to keep your information confidential and is prohibited from using it for anything other than serving the firm.
  • Custodians you designate. Where you grant view-only access so the firm can see the holdings it is analyzing.
  • Professional advisers to the firm. Attorneys, accountants, and compliance consultants who assist Foxholm Financial.
  • Regulators and legal process. The Georgia Securities Division, other securities regulators, and responses to subpoenas, court orders, or law enforcement requests where the law requires it.
  • Your other advisers, with your permission. Your attorney, accountant, or insurance agent, where coordinating makes your plan work better and you have asked for it.
  • Anyone else you authorize in writing. You can revoke that authorization at any time by telling the firm in writing.

Before engaging any provider that will hold client information, Foxholm Financial obtains a written commitment, or documents a review of the provider's published terms, requiring the provider to notify the firm as soon as possible and no later than 72 hours after learning of a breach. That commitment is re-confirmed during the annual vendor review.

How the information is protected

Electronic

Encryption in transit and at rest, multi-factor authentication, firewalls and security software, and prompt patching.

Storage

Secure United States cloud environments run by providers holding SOC 2 certification. Client data is not stored on servers outside the United States.

Physical and procedural

Secure storage and disposal of paper records, access limited to a genuine business need, vendor due diligence, and regular review of these practices.

Foxholm Financial has voluntarily adopted the substantive standards of SEC Regulation S-P as amended in 2024, including notifying affected clients within 30 days of determining that their information was involved in a breach. That rule binds advisers registered with the SEC rather than state-registered firms, so the firm holds itself to it by choice.

How long the information is kept

Securities regulation requires investment advisers to preserve client records for a minimum period, generally at least five years after the advisory relationship ends and in some cases longer. Records supporting the advice you were given are retained for that period even after the engagement is over. Former clients continue to be covered by this policy.

Your Rights

You can ask what personal information Foxholm Financial holds about you, and you can ask to have anything inaccurate or incomplete corrected. Email contact@foxholm.com and the request will be handled directly.

Because Foxholm Financial does not share your information with nonaffiliated third parties for marketing purposes, there is nothing for you to opt out of. If that practice ever changed, you would receive notice and an opportunity to opt out before any sharing took place.

State and international rights

  • California residents. Under the CCPA and CPRA you may request the categories and specific pieces of personal information collected about you, request deletion subject to the recordkeeping limits above, and expect no discrimination for exercising these rights. Foxholm Financial does not sell personal information, so there is no sale to opt out of.
  • Georgia residents. Georgia's Personal Identity Protection Act requires notification of security breaches affecting personal information, and the firm maintains procedures to detect, respond to, and report such breaches.
  • Vermont residents. Information collected about you is not shared with nonaffiliates except as permitted by law.
  • Other states. Privacy law is changing quickly. If you live in a state with specific privacy rights, such as Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, or Utah, contact the firm to learn how those rights apply.
  • Outside the United States. Foxholm Financial serves United States residents. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom and believe the GDPR applies to you, contact the firm to discuss it.

Joint accounts

Where an account is held jointly, the privacy choices you make apply to everyone on that account.

Children's Privacy

Foxholm Financial services are not directed to anyone under 18, and the site is not intended for children. In the course of family financial planning, the firm may collect limited information about a client's minor children, such as a date of birth for education planning or a Social Security number appearing on a family tax return. That information is collected solely to advise the parent or guardian and is protected by the same safeguards as all other client information.

Changes to This Policy

Foxholm Financial may update this policy. Where a change to information sharing practices is material, clients receive a current notice as the law requires. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision, and the current version always lives at this address.

Federal law exempts a firm from delivering an annual privacy notice where it shares nonpublic personal information only within exceptions that carry no opt-out right and has not changed its policies since the last notice. Foxholm Financial meets both conditions, so the notice is delivered at the start of the relationship and again whenever practices materially change, rather than on a fixed annual schedule.

Effective February 16, 2026. Last updated September 8, 2026.
